I was preparing a gallery page for review today so had to upload a bunch of images into a worpress site, so marked a bunch of them in the add media dialog box, which in return gave me no error message and revealed the add gallery function which i never heard about.

you can use the graphic interface to change the order of the images, the thumb size, links and all of the other parameters you could edit in the add image box.

very useful for both users and developers.
