Beatport has experienced sales declines due to the slow economy and due to their high prices. Beatport has also shut down their european division and has had other job cuts. Because of this, beatport is not accepting any new labels, especially up and coming ones. Beatport just wants big name labels with big name artists so they will not have to do any work to sell the tracks. Beatport has become more and more lazy and arrogant. I personally do not purchase tracks from Beatport and will not until I see more support for up and coming labels and artists.
